For developers and anyone else who wants an extremely early look at the new software, Apple has officially released the iOS 16.4 beta. After multiple releases for iOS 16.3, this is the first beta for iOS 16.4. The new Unicode 15 emoji are the first iOS 16.4 features to be featured. The last new emoji in more than a year is these. The shaken-face emoji, pink and light-blue hearts, goose, donkey, angel wings, jellyfish, pea pods, ginger, folding hand fans, maracas, flute, and more are among the new emojis. These new emoji additions were first suggested in July 2022, and in September 2022, they were included in the Unicode standard. They were only recently added to iOS because Apple's designers had to make the icons using the data provided by the Unicode Consortium. Apple released new emoji with iOS 16.4. With this feature, you can receive push notifications for web apps through Push API, Notifications API, and Service Workers if you save a website as a web app on your home screen. Before sending push notifications, these web apps must receive the user's consent. Similar to other apps, these alerts appear on the lock screen in the Notification Center as well as on a connected Apple Watch. Third-party web browsers can also add web apps to the iOS home screen while talking about webpages. Moreover, developers can choose to participate in the betas directly from the Settings app by using the Software Update Settings feature. It will be simpler for individuals using the developer beta to obtain the most recent betas since there will be no longer be a need to install a profile from the Development Center. The public beta users are likewise subject to the same rules. The inclusion of new capabilities in the Podcasts app is another intriguing fact regarding iOS 16.4. On the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, users will get access to a comprehensive list of podcast channels through a new Channels menu in Podcasts. The Up Next queue will now include both episodes that users play from unfollowed series as well as episodes that they have saved to the Library, which is the next new feature. Later, new tools will be included to give users more control over Up Next, including the option to touch and hold show artwork to remove it from the queue. This version also includes enhancements to CarPlay, enabling access to the Up Next and Recently Added queues from the Listen Now portion of CarPlay.
