Even though the launch is only a few days away, anticipation has been growing for months, and we have already learned a lot about what to anticipate, with Pei himself disclosing some important information including the CPU and plans for a stateside debut. Right now, Nothing and YouTuber Marques Brownlee of MKBHD fame are giving us a sneak peek at the hardware layout of the Nothing Phone 2. [caption id="attachment_185965" align="aligncenter" width="1280"]Nothing_phone_2 Image credit : Yanko Design[/caption] Existing leaks were able to provide us with enough proof that Nothing intended to use a center-aligned hole-punch cutout rather than a corner-aligned one for the Phone 2's selfie camera. Yogesh Brar, a leaker, recently posted a picture of the Nothing Phone 2s that provided additional proof for that assertion. This detail is also visible in MKBHD's exclusive hands-on video with the phone, revealing yet another rumor to be accurate. In the meantime, Nothing shared a teaser image on Twitter for the Phone 2 that revealed the rear panel design in both the black and gray color options. The latter is seen in the movie, along with a full examination of the new glyph interface. The glyph interface light strips are still present in the same basic locations, but they have been divided into 11 strips instead of the Phone 1's five, each of which had 11 configurable zones. Nothing has given the lengthy LED strip surrounding the wireless charging coil a whopping 16 zones, but the exclamation mark-shaped glyph at the bottom still serves as a charge indicator. As a result, apps like Uber may use the LEDs to display a progress bar to show you when your trip will arrive.
