Tesla chargers will be open to other EVs as well at 100,000 new charging station by govt

According to a recent announcement, Tesla will make at least 7,500 of its charging stations available to other EV brands, indicating that pressure from the White House put on Tesla and Elon Musk, in particular, to open up their network for other EVs has been successful. All 50 states have chargers included in this, both old and new. In line with rumors, the White House released information on how its National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program (NEVI), "a $5 billion endeavor to establish a coast-to-coast network of electric vehicle chargers," will be allocating billions in government subsidies. Urban and rural towns will be connected by the national network of up to 500 travel centers, enabling long-distance EV travel. The first 200 or so chargers in this network, the businesses say today, are anticipated to be used by cars in 2023. There isn't much information available about Supercharger costs for non-Tesla vehicles in the US, but Tesla has already revealed some information, so the precise costs of charging subscriptions shouldn't be far after.
